When you call in sick, we think you’re lying.

This makes us to do stupid stuff. We ask you for a doctor’s note. We look at your social profiles to see if you’re being chatty on Facebook or checking into the movie theater on Foursquare.

We try to see if there’s a pattern to your sick days.

It’s so dumb.

Sometimes people are just sick. Even HR people. We should remember that.
